About Us

Brooklyn Dental Care was established in 1972 and was a small, one surgery practice operating from the old cottage at number 8 Geldard Road.
As the number of patients grew, the old cottage quickly became overwhelmed. Upon Dr S W’s retirement, the surgery purchased the neighbouring, Coach & Six Public House. The building, previously confined to serving the workforce of the historic Britannia Mill, would soon be resurrected into the new purpose built, facilities designed to serve Birstall and surrounding areas.

The project was recorded in the Batley and Birstall news at the time. Now, 15 years on, the New Brooklyn team provide exemplary, private and affordable dental healthcare.
Read what the CQC said about our practice during their last inspection;
“Patients were positive about all aspects of the service the practice provided. They told us staff were friendly, caring and professional. They said that the dentist listened to them and explained treatments and any associated costs. Patients commented that they made them feel at ease, especially when they were anxious about visiting the dentist.”
“The practice asked for and listened to the views of patients.”
